Exactly 4 weeks old today. Not a very exciting day, just a normal good day.

Al Amin is doing okay today with the blood pressures. He gained some fluid weight tho but that's because he hasn't been getting his Lasix. He was supposed to go down on the ventilator PEEP settings but because of the Fluid Dr Anna thought it would be better we allow the fluid out first. Tomorrow ina going to be a big day. He is stable enough to go down stairs to Radialogy to have his Kidney function tests. Ya Allah. You have always been with him. Ya Allah be with him and us on his big days and always. Thank you Allah for everything. 

Welcome to the world my precious baby

March 3rd 2016 was the day I went to Inova Fairfax hospital to have a CS section by Dr Falika King and Dr Khoury. I had come to America from Nigeria to have a baby and during my first ultrasound it was found at 31 weeks that my baby had enlarged kidneys. The journey was long, many more ultrasounds , many doctor visits and today Al Amin has arrived. A very handsome cute baby. He weighed 9 pounds. I had him at exactly 10.26am. C section recovery was not difficult for me but my baby had been in the NICU for the past 27 days.
